DAMAGE CODING AND CLASSIFICATION
Our surveyors have the expertise to note on-site and report damage using the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) Standard Damage Codes. The damage is reported through a standard five-digit set of codes. These codes focus on three areas:• Type of damage.
• Location of damage.
• Severity of damage.
Our surveyors are also trained to classify all vehicle’s damage and deficiencies noted according to their origin. Each and every damage which the surveyor observes on-site during the survey is noted and classified into the following categories:
